Cailen was born + raised in the sunny state of California. She grew up running around the mountains, baking with her mother and singing on the top of her lungs everywhere she went. She has been performing since a very young age and went on to receive her BFA in Musical Theater + Honors in Acting from the University of California, Irvine.
SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE
While Cailen attended UC Irvine, she spent her summers traveling around the country + the world. She made her NYC + NYMF debut in a new musical, Nickel Mines, as Rosanna King written by Andrew Palermo, OBC member of Wicked. The show takes place + is based on the Amish schoolhouse shooting in Lancaster, PA. Cailen holds this show very near + dear to her heart and is grateful to have been part of a show that shared such an important story in our recent history. Then she went on to study across the pond at RADA (the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), Shakespeare's Globe and ArtsEd. Cailen grew up reading and studying Shakespeare at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, so most of her training and skills are centered around a classical background.

She is the current standby plastic for Regina George + Gretchen Wieners! Along with Mean Girls, she has worked on voiceover projects ranging from Subway commercials to Animated Feature Films. Another passion of hers has been coaching young artists and helping them focus on how to set the groundwork for the career they want to build. When she's not performing, you will most likely find her watering her plant babies or trying out a new biscuit recipe!
